How do I set-up an Athlete Account?
It’s easy. First, you will need to click on the “Login” link on the Home Page. From there, you will choose your account level (Junior, Varsity, Pro/Elite, Weekend Warrior), choose a safe and confidential password. You will then be asked several questions to help set-up your profile. Simply fill out your initial profile and then return any time to “Profile Edit” to update your profile.
What will it cost me?
A basic athlete profile that allows you to upload ALL of your stats/athletic/academic info, stay connected with fans and family and 5MB of space to upload pictures/videos is 100% FREE. You can always upgrade to a Pro Plan that will provide up to 100MB of space for pictures/videos for $2.95/month or a All Star plan for unlimited space for just $5.95/month. There are no long-term contracts – meaning you can cancel at any time. Fans, coaches and teams can also sign-up for FREE and enable you and them to stay connected and share updates!
Are my payments secure?
Absolutely! BragStats has partnered with PayPal, the premier online payment company on the Internet. Payments are made easily online using a valid credit card and PayPal’s safe and secure payment system.
Is my information secure?
Yes! We have a secure server that hosts all of your information that has redundant security in place. We will not share your information with any third-parties without prior authorization from you!
How can I connect with my Family and Fans?
Family and Fans can sign-up as a Fan for FREE! Simply click the “Become a Fan” link on the Home Page and select “Fans” when prompted for Account Type while signing up. Fans will have a limited profile, but full access to you and other athletes on the site. This is a great way for your out-of-town family and fans to stay connected with YOU – you can send updates and upload game photos and video for them to see anytime. You choose who has access to your profile by accepting their Fan requests.
Can my Team create its own Profile Page?
You bet! Simply click the “Sign-up Today” link on the Home Page and select “Teams” when prompted for Account Type while signing up. Teams will have a FREE limited profile, but full access to you and other athletes on the site. This is a great way for your team or school to create a profile and brag about their successes! In addition, BragStats can help Teams connect with their athletes/parents – send updates to the team, utilize the Calendar feature to make its practice and game schedule easily available online and post notices (i.e. weather updates).
Child Privacy
BragStats Children's Privacy Policy
BragStats strictly prohibits any child under the age of 12 to create their own BragStats account, update their profile and/or communicate with other members within the network. We respect the privacy of our children, and it is the full responsibility of the parent to determine which information to post on their child’s profile and to who has access to their profile. Should a subscriber knowingly violate the BragStats Children’s Privacy Policy, their account will be terminated.
BragStats is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, otherwise known as COPPA. We have posted our Children's privacy policy to help both children and parents understand how a child's personal information will be treated as they interact within our social networking website. This policy may be modified from time to time to better address your concerns or to reflect new changes in online policy, so please check back frequently.

Who collects information?Information is collected from children by their parent or legal guardian in order to create a BragStats Profile.
What kind of personal information is collected and how is it used?BragStats will not collect personal information about you or your child unless you provide it to us or publicly post it voluntarily and knowingly. We respect the privacy of children, it is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to determine which information to post on their child’s profile and to who has access to their profile. The information collected may include you or your child's legal name, address, telephone number, email address, birth date and any pertinent sports related information, photos and videos.
We will not sell or rent your child's information to third parties under any circumstances. If you or your child has submitted personal information to us and would like to change it or remove it from our records, simply update your BragStats account or contact us at privacy@bragstats.com and we will delete the information.

Information BragStats Gathers and Tracks
BragStats gathers two types of information about users: (1) Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive our electronic newsletters, to participate in our refer a friend, e-mail, registering and from participation in polls and surveys; and (2) Information BragStats gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to Members’ needs and to help our advertisers and sponsors better understand the demographics of our audience. Because BragStats has the potential to derive a portion of its revenue from sponsorships and advertising, providing such aggregated demographic data is essential to keeping our service secure and running efficiently for our users. Under no circumstances does BragStats divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.
Use of Information
BragStats uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our website, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. As stated above, we use information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls and surveys. We may send out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (depending on the newsletter), and occasionally send out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. BragStats never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including advertisers, sponsors or partners.
BragStats creates aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers, sponsors and partners. This allows our advertisers to advertise more effectively, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. Because we don't track the usage patterns of individual users, an advertiser or sponsor will never know that a specific user clicked their ad. We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. surveys with our sponsors, advertisers and partners. In order to use the athletic or coaching database, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give personal, athletic, academic and statistical information. This information could be used to contact you about the products/services/ promotions on our website in which you have registered with.
If you order any information or subscribe to any services offered on the BragStats website, we will ask you to complete an order form that requires certain information, including payment information such as a credit card number and expiration date as well as general contact, billing and shipping information. We will use this information to complete the transaction, i.e., to deliver the information or other services you ordered, and to collect payment. For your protection, all such information is collected and stored through secure and encrypted measures.
We may offer a free electronic newsletter to users. BragStats gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe and who register within the database. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.
Children
Per our Child Privacy Policy and consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent. The BragStats website works with (and may provide links to) third party sites. Such third parties may permit children under the age of thirteen to register for these features on their sites in accordance with their respective privacy policies. BragStats tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of its site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. BragStats does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). BragStats sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
Cookies
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
